Yes, our financial health checkup is 100% free, with no obligation! The 'catch' is that we will be doing a quick analysis of your financial health - rather than an in-depth & complete financial plan. We find that oftentimes clients wish to engage us for more after getting a taste of our services, but to reiterate - there is absolutely no obligation to do so.
Sort of - it's complicated! We want to remain accessible, so we have chosen not to implement a hard investment minimum. That being said, with smaller sized accounts we have a hard time generating enough revenue to maintain the high level of service that our clients deserve. With that in mind, we have implemented a 'soft' investment minimum of $50K. Under that threshold, we require two things:
A commitment to invest at least $500 per month with us for the foreseeable future.
A recognition that the financial planning will be limited in scope until assets cross our minimum threshold.
If that's unclear, feel free to engage us for the free financial health checkup and we'd be happy to clarify and answer any questions you have!
It's true that hiring a financial advisor is not the all-time cheapest way to invest. But did you know that people who hire an advisor accumulate significantly more in assets than their non-advised counterparts? Up to 290% more over 15 years in fact - that's 3.9 TIMES as much money!
So we're biased, but we believe the stats back up our assertation that most people should work with an advisor. For more info, check out this quick article or this compilation of research on the value of advice.
